Travelling in India will never leave you wanting. There is so much to experience that no amount of time will seem enough. Most people generally start their tour with New Delhi. If you are one of them you will find this tour interesting.
Day 01 – Arrive Delhi
Like any tour you will begin this one too with your arrival in the base city, New Delhi. The first day is left free and you can use it as you like.
Day 02 – In Delhi
Step out on the second day of your India travels to take in the sights and sounds of Delhi. You will visit places of historic importance like the Red Fort, Qutab Minar, India Gate etc.
Day 03 –Drive Delhi - Agra (220 kms/04 hrs)
From Delhi you start moving westward. Your next stop will be Agra where you can feast your eyes on the Agra Fort and the Taj Mahal.
Day 04 -Drive Agra - Jaipur (250 kms/05 hrs)
After your time in Agra you move towards the capital of Rajasthan, Jaipur. Before you reach Jaipur however a quick stop at Fatehpur Sikhri is recommended. This deserted city was once the capital of one of the greatest rulers in the world, Akbar.
Day 05 –In Jaipur
The ‘Pink City’ will leave you filled with wonderment. Some of the sites that you will visit on your India travel here are the City Palace, Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal and the Amber Fort.
Day 06 –Drive Jaipur – Jodhpur (330 kms/07 hrs)
After soaking in the beauty that is Jaipur, you will go on to the ‘Blue City’ also known as Jodhpur. This city gets its name from its blue houses.
Day 07 –In Jodhpur
There are two major places of interest in Jodhpur that you will be taken to see, the Mehrangarh Fort that gives the town its identity and the Jaswant Thaada.
Day 08 –Drive Jodhpur – Udaipur (275 kms / 6 hrs)
The last place to visit on your India travel itinerary is Udaipur. This beautiful city looks like the Rajputs ruled here yesterday. It is also known as the ‘city of sunrise’ and the ‘Venice of the East’.
Day 09 –In Udaipur
Udaipur has its share of monuments too beside beautiful gardens and huge pavilions made of marble. You will discover this when you visit the City Palace, Lake Pichola, Sahiliyon ki bari and the Jagdish temple.
Day 10 –Fly Udaipur - Delhi
As your India travel comes to an end you head back to New Delhi. The rest of the day in the nation’s capital is free for you to explore the place.
Day 11 –Depart Delhi
You can spend your last morning here relaxing or looking around once again. Hotel check outs happen in the afternoon after which you are guided to your airport transfers.
