Get away while on holiday and visit the tiger reserves and cultural centers by participating in Tiger Safari India.
Day 01 – Arrive Delhi
Delhi is the third largest country in India and is a mixture of ancient architecture with new development.
Day 02 – In Delhi
Take an informative tour of Delhi and enjoy the following tourist attractions: Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk, Birla Mandir, India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhavan, Qutub Minar (see picture below), and Bahai’s Temple. A simple yet moving tribute to Mahatma Gandhi is found at Raj Ghat. Every Friday a memorial service to Gandhi pays tribute. Another site is Humayun’s Tomb (see picture below); it was a tribute by Humayun’s widow, Haji Begum.
Day 03 – Fly Delhi – Nagpur & Drive Nagpur – Pench (80 kms / 1.5 hrs)
The first of three safaris of the Tiger Safari India takes place at the Pench National Park. It is a wildlife reserve teaming with dozens of mammal species and hundreds of bird life. The teak forest and grasslands are the perfect habitat for the wide assortment.
Day 04 - In Pench
Additional time for game ride is planned for your entertainment.
Day 05 – Drive Pench – Kanha (250 kms / 05 hrs)
The next destination is Kanha National Park which lays claim to the largest tiger population in India. It is a picturesque park where you will want to take many pictures of the tigers, monkeys, and wolves.
Day 06 – In Kanha
Tiger Safari India plans more time at each destination so you can participate in more safaris.
Day 07 – Drive Kanha – Bandhavgarh (325 kms / 07 hrs)
For a nice change, you can opt for a short elephant ride, a great vantage point from which to view tigers.
Day 08 –In Bandhavgarh
Bandhavgarh National Park is famous for its white tigers. This may be an once-in-a-lifetime experience to see a white tiger.
Day 09 –Overnight Train Bandhavgarh – Agra
Relax on a train trip while heading to your next stop.
Day 10 –Arrive Agra
Agra is most well-known by its famous landmark, the Taj Mahal. Craftsman from France and Italy were recruited for the construction of the monumental structure. The main architect was Iranian. Another notable sight is the Agra Fort which was originally used for military operations.
Day 11 –Drive Agra – Delhi (220 kms / 04 hrs) and depart Delhi
