The Chhatra Sagar tented Camp is often considered to be one of the most peaceful, unique and friendly places to stay in Rajasthan. The Camp consists of 11 Deluxe tents, pitched on a dam, overlooking a lake. The tents have a choice of double or twin beds, with modern ensuite facilities, small private sitting areas, and a dressing room. Each tent has a private Verandah or sitout, directly overlooking the lake. The Nimaj family are personally involved in looking after guests, and even the food served is cooked and supervised by the ladies of the house and comprises family recipes passed down over generations. Chhatra Sagar provides an experience of rural Rajasthan, in a unique manner, where, accompanied by the hosts, guests have a wonderful opportunity to wander about exploring the farms, local temples, and even meeting the villagers. Chhatra Sagar is also a great place for bird watchers. Past travelers to Chhatra Sagar , still fondly remember the sun downers on the hill, and the al fresco dinning under the stars.
