The 19th century Samode Palace, located about 40 kms from Jaipur, is the sister hotel to Samode Haveli in Jaipur and consists of 42 rooms and suites. Whilst the Haveli was the Rawal of Samode’s town house, the Palace was his country residence. Lovingly renovated by the Rawal’s descendents, every one of the rooms has been given its own individual character. The interior of the hotel contains many stunning frescoes and the rooms themselves are filled with a range of antique furniture. Nestled picturesquely amidst rugged hills, Samode Palace is now considered one of India’s most charming hotels. There is a superb swimming pool and the hotel is perfectly located for walks through the local village of Samode. The Samode Palace also offers facilities for Camel and horse riding.
